How to create something new from something we already have?

The mission of REcreational Wardrobe CIC

is to enable a cultural change in young peoples approach to clothing and fashions by connecting them with textile professionals and improving well being through educational workshops, social events and networking opportunities.

The Recreational Wardrobe CIC is a complimentary mixture of active professionals (designers, craftspeople, and lectures) from the textile industry around Merseyside. The main aim of the Recreational Wardrobe CIC is to reduce waste and pollution in the fashion and retail industry on a customer level by supporting a change in customer behaviour via educational as well as practical experience events. Further, the Recreational Wardrobe is not only a bridge between textile professionals and general public but it is also offering connection for educational institutions and government bodies and other stakeholders acting in a field of textile production, waste, etc. Thus, the Recreational Wardrobe is a platform where professionals and general public can meet, connect, exchange experiences, and learn something new and build awareness about issues as well as opportunities of our wardrobes. The Recreational Wardrobe will also serve as a space for students of fashion schools to gain practical experiences.
